Tattoo Remover AI
Accessibility
Effective and last updated 30 August 2026
Tattoo Remover AI is built to be usable with the accessibility features of iOS. This page describes what the app supports today and the honest limits of that support. If anything here does not match your experience, please email [email protected]: reports go straight to the developer.
Supported features
- VoiceOver. Every control in the app is labelled and the full removal flow can be completed with VoiceOver: pick a photo, choose what to remove, generate, and save or share the result. Decorative effects are hidden from the screen reader.
- Voice Control.Controls carry spoken names, so the app can be driven by voice (“Tap Choose a photo”, “Tap Save photo”).
- Larger Text. All text scales with the Dynamic Type setting, to more than double the default size. Buttons and rows grow with their labels rather than clipping them.
- Dark Interface. The whole app supports the system dark appearance, including sheets and dialogs.
- Differentiate Without Color Alone. Selected states always carry a checkmark or icon in addition to a colour change.
- Sufficient Contrast. Text and iconography meet the WCAG AA contrast ratio (4.5:1) against their backgrounds in both light and dark appearance.
- Reduced Motion. With Reduce Motion on, the landing comparison holds still instead of drifting, ambient particle effects are removed, and reveal animations are replaced with simple transitions.
Known limits
Marking a tattoo by swiping over the photo is a freehand drawing gesture, and freehand drawing is not practical with VoiceOver or Voice Control. The app does not require it: “Find tattoos for me” performs the same removal with automatic detection and is fully accessible. It is the intended path for VoiceOver and Voice Control users, and it is available on every photo.
The app contains no video or audio content, so captions and audio descriptions do not apply.
Feedback
Accessibility issues are treated as bugs. If a screen cannot be read, a control cannot be reached, or text does not scale, email [email protected] with the iOS version and the feature you were using, and it will be fixed in an update.
